Group blocks
Reserve room blocks, rooming lists, pickup, and master folios.
Route: /dashboard/platform/groups. Needs canManageBookings (hotelGroupWorkspace).
A GroupBlock has blockCode, arrivalDate, departureDate, releaseDate, contact, and billingType (guest_pays, master_folio, split). Status is tentative, definite, released, or cancelled. Allocations hold the rooms per room type and date.
Create
createHotelGroupBlock with dates, allocations, and billing type.
Confirm
updateHotelGroupBlockStatus to definite.
Rooming list
createHotelGroupRoomingList creates bookings against the allocation. It cannot create stays in a closed business date.
Pickup
pickupHotelGroupBlock records rooms picked up. A worker releases unused rooms after releaseDate.
Close
closeHotelGroupMasterFolio after every stay has departed or been cancelled.
detachHotelGroupBooking removes a booking from the block.
