Folios and night audit
Post charges, reverse entries, close folios, and run the night audit.
Route: /dashboard/platform/folios. Needs canManagePayments.
Folio entries
A Folio is open, closed, or voided. Each FolioEntry has entryType (room_charge, tax, fee, addon, payment, refund, adjustment, transfer, reversal), direction (debit, credit), amountMinor, and a postingKey that prevents double posting.
Post
postFolioEntry adds a charge or credit with a description and idempotency key.
Correct
reverseFolioEntry posts an opposite entry linked to the original. Entries are never edited or deleted.
Take payment
recordBookingPayment records a payment made at the desk.
Close
closeReconciledFolio closes a folio only when the balance is reconciled.
hotelFolioReceipt prints a receipt.
Night audit
hotelNightAuditOperations shows the checks for the current business date. runHotelNightAudit posts room charges and tax, records DailyMetrics, writes a NightAuditRun, and advances HotelBusinessDate. Resolve overdue checked-in stays first. A closed business date cannot receive new stays.
