Resources

/dashboard/platform/resources is a generic Keystone list screen for Resource. It needs canManageResources.

Fields

• kind: van, kayak, bike, or boat.
• seats: seats per unit.
• quantity: how many units the pool holds, such as 16 kayaks.
• status: active or maintenance. Only an active resource can be assigned. Set it at creation. Update cannot change it, so a resource cannot be moved into or out of maintenance from the dashboard.

Assigning to a departure

assignResource (needs canManageResources) takes a departure, a resource, and a quantity. It checks that:

• the resource kind matches the tour's requiresResourceKind,
• the quantity fits the pool,
• the pool is not already used by an overlapping departure (half-open time intervals, summed by quantity),
• the new seat limit still covers booked and held seats.

A departure holds one resource assignment. A new one replaces the old. The departure's capacity becomes the smaller of the tour maximum and seats × quantity.

resizeDeparture can lower capacity but not below booked and held seats. It cannot exceed the tour maximum or the assigned resource seats.
