Deployment

Build, migrate, and run Openfront Dealership, and point Stripe webhooks at it.

npm run build runs keystone build --no-ui && next build. It does not migrate. railway.toml builds the same way and starts with npm run migrate && next start.

  1. Provision PostgreSQL and an S3-compatible bucket.
  2. Set DATABASE_URL, SESSION_SECRET, and the five S3_* variables, plus SMTP and Stripe if you use them.
  3. Back up any existing database.
  4. Build, apply migrations, then start:
npm run build
npm run migrate
npm start
  1. If you use Stripe, point its webhook at /api/payment-webhooks/pp_stripe_stripe (or the code of your provider record).
  2. Create the first user at /dashboard/init and run onboarding.

The README's Vercel button imports the repository and asks for the database, session, and S3 values. Provision the database and bucket yourself and run npm run migrate as a release step.

See the overview for workflows and operations.
