Start the pencil
createDealPencil from a lead, with an optional trade-in. Tax and doc fee come from the dealership profile.
Build the worksheet
saveDealWorksheet for cash, finance, or lease. "Lease structures require term, residual, and money factor". presentDealWorksheet, then acceptDealWorksheet. reopenDealWorksheet returns it.
Pick a lender offer
dealLenderOffers, selectDealLenderOffer for finance or lease.
Move the deal
transitionDeal: pencil, submitted, approved, financed, delivered, cancelled. "A vehicle is required before deal submission". Submitting reserves the vehicle. Approval is recorded as DealApproval.
Only pencil deals can be deleted. "Deal status changes must use transitionDeal".
