Common messages and fixes.
| Message or symptom | Cause and fix |
|---|---|
Can't reach database server during build | Migrations ran at build time. Build with keystone build --no-ui && next build and start with npm run migrate && next start. |
SESSION_SECRET required | The secret is missing or shorter than 32 characters. Guest order proofs are signed with it. |
| The storefront lists no events | Setup has not been run or no event is announced or on sale. |
| A seat cannot be held | It is held by another buyer, sold, in a production hold, or killed on the chart. |
Order stays pending_payment | The webhook is not reaching the app. Check the endpoint URL and STRIPE_WEBHOOK_SECRET. |
| Refund asks for approval | It is above refundApprovalThresholdCents. A different user with canApproveAdjustments decides it. |
| Chart changes are rejected | The chart is published. Create a new draft and publish it. |
