Orders, refunds and approvals

Ticket orders, comps, refunds, the waitlist and second-user approvals.

Route: /dashboard/platform/orders and /dashboard/platform/orders/[id]. Needs canManageOrders.

Orders

Each order keeps a copy of the tier name, price, fees and tax at purchase. Statuses are pending_payment, paid, partially_refunded, refunded, cancelled and comp. Tickets are valid, checked_in, void or refunded.

Refunds

refundTicketOrder refunds a whole order, an amount, or chosen tickets, through the same provider that took the payment. It needs canIssueRefunds, a reason and an idempotency key. The provider refund key is stable, so a retry never refunds twice.

Inside the refund window (VenueSettings.refundWindowHours, 24 by default) a guest can cancel their own order from the order page. After that, staff refund it.

Comps

issueComp issues tickets at zero cents. They still count against capacity. A comp above compApprovalQuantity needs approval.

Approvals

Route: /dashboard/platform/approvals. A refund above approvalThresholdCents, a large comp, or a minimum waiver creates a ManagerApproval. A different user must approve it (approveRequest), and the original action then runs with that approval.

Waitlist

When a show sells out, guests can join the waitlist. offerWaitlist sends an offer link; the guest claims it at /waitlist/claim.

Customers

Route: /dashboard/platform/customers. People who bought tickets, with their orders.
